My favorite painter. A small museum by the shore of Lake Ippekiko. I went there to see his solo exhibition. Since we were the only ones in the museum, I immersed myself in his paintings for a long time. A warm feeling welled up deep within my chest. His paintings make my heart feel that way. I don't particularly like the word “artist.” I prefer the word “painter.” I feel the word ‘painter’ suits him better than “artist.”
