My Song

Like a nameless flower blooming unseen in the deep forest, then fading away unseen, I too will create songs that reach no one, sing them quietly, and quietly end my life. That is the kind of song mine is.The path of my life that no one knows.

The Painter

My favorite painter. A small museum by the shore of Lake Ippekiko. I went there to see his solo exhibition. Since we were the only ones in the museum, I immersed myself in his paintings for a long time. A warm feeling welled up deep within my chest. His paintings make my heart feel that way. I don't particularly like the word “artist.” I prefer the word “painter.” I feel the word ‘painter’ suits him better than “artist.”
